Arrakis has indigenous population however. They call themselves Fremens. Although scattered and partially disorganized, they are numerous and hold important secrets of Dune. The Duke desperately wants to ally with them, but all negotiations have failed so far due to fremens not being so happy about "invaders:. Perhaps defending their families will show them we want to cooperate... Take a small squad and defend the Sietch against Harkonnen attackers. The Harkonnen will gladly kill them all; they don''t represent any importance to them. Don''t approach the sietch though: they are paranoid and won''t hesitate to shoot you.
